- if it was working before, all you have to do is to re-install the scanner driver. This will bring the settings back to its default. Delete the scanner in the control panel - devices and printers. Then, install the scanner driver again.
- if its the first time installation, please read the scanner manual and check if the software has this feature to select different file formats after scanning. If there is not, you can use any imaging software like adobe photoshop, corel draw, etc.
