Try and reinstall chrome or check if the cable has been scanned by the computer. If this does not work download firefox open chrome on firefox make the firefox(chrome)a shortcut on the desktop. Go to properties on the (chrome shortcut) change it to the chrome icon and you have got yourself a brand new chrome without even downloading it
