Hello,
I just bought some gaming headphones, and when i plug them in with the adapter it came with for audio and/mic, it doesn't come up on the sound settings. The audio works perfectly, but i can't get the mic to work. I don't know if it's the mic jack itself or some thing else. When i tried changing the "microphone device" on steam, the headset doesn't come up. So my problem is that i can't seem to use the mic at all. I have tried everything, but nothing seems to work. I'd appreciate it if someone could help me out, thanks.

I had this problem before and it is the mic jack itself, and got that fixed and it worked.
