IE wont run

Hello,
after having a virus, we got all things back to normal on my laptop, I can use MSN, GOOGLE but nothing that uses IE from my desktop works, I cant update my spyware or use spoitify, because they connect from my desktop using IE..they all say no internet connection can be found...I have tried all I know...any help??

What version of Windows are you using?

Some versions have a repair function that might fix things.

Have you tried resetting IE to it's default settings and making sure you don't have a Proxy Server messing things up?

Sometimes you just need to wipe the system clear and start over with a fresh version of Windows. You can try a free upgrade from Win7 to Win10.
