Ethernet

Hello,

like many before I had to run my operating system to restore my computer and the ethernet is not on the disk. I have been on Gateway anytime I can get on a computer that is onlin, trying to grab any down load that might work. But none of the 30 or so have been what I need. The tecks on Gateway could not help and I am now at a loss. running xp on a gateway and my warenty ran out jan. 09 lol.. I have had motherboards and hard drives replaced multiple times so now I dont know what to do.. If I could get any help it would be sanity saving!
