Hello,

I can not log in because the r key does not work nor does the y, 3, and 5 keys. It just started and I can not use my computer until I can log in. I took off the r key, cleaned under it but it still does not work. Any suggestions?

You can always use an external USB keyboard until you can install a replacement internal keyboard.\

Good luck
Is installing a new key board something I can do or do I have to send it back to the Toshiba? How difficult is it? Does anyone have directions on how to do it?

Probably not something you can do if you have never dissembled a laptop.

Each laptop model has a different procedure. I suggest you download the Maint Instructions from the manufacturer.

try hitting the shift button 5 times real quick and see if your sticky key setting is on. turn off if it is.
