Uninstall Norton AntiVirus
Open your computer's "Start" menu, then go into the "Control Panel."
Open the "Programs and Features" section of the Control Panel.
Select the Norton AntiVirus program from the program list, then click "Uninstall."
Click "Next" and then click "Remove" to uninstall Norton.
Renew AntiVirus Subscription
Go to the Norton Renewal Center (see Resources).
Select your country and language. Click the "Continue" button. Type in the email address that you used to purchase and register Norton AntiVirus.
Click "Continue" and wait while Norton pulls up a list of your software programs, along with their respective expiration dates.
Select the checkbox next to Norton AntiVirus, then click "Renew Now."
Confirm your credit card information or type in information for a new credit card, then click "Continue" to proceed with the renewal. The expiration messages on the program disappear within 24 hours of you renewing your software online with Norton.
