Why do I have to have Trend Micro Housecall scan my computer?

I have Malwarebytes Antimalware installed on my computer. I shouldn't be required to download and install something onto my computer that I didn't search for, and now I have no access to Facebook at all. It just showed up AFTER I was told I needed to login to FB again, and logging out and relogging in does NOT do anything.

You don't need to download it, They are not forcing you, it's kind of advertising.

Actually, I did, Otherwise, I couldn't get back into my Facebook account until I downloaded and ran it.
