A Question about converting a .PMD doc to JPG..?

Greetings People, I am urgently trying to convert a Adobe Pagemaker 7 .PMD image to a .Jpeg to e.mail to someone who does not have Adobe Pagemaker.
I was advised over the phone by someone else to download Foxit but am a bit lost now.
Can anyone kindly help please?
I am a Win XP pro user.
