Conditional formatting based on multiple values

Hello,

I want to color my cell if one of few drop down list is picked
for example: if appe or orange are getting picked, it needs to color it in green. the thing is its a lot more than 2 values, it can be much more, and I want to refer it to the cell itself

Without knowing more details it is very difficult to effectively help.

If there are really many possible values maybe setting up a table to do the research in time is one of the solutions.
