Hello,
        i've got a hp pavillion dv6327cl and has worked really well for along time.
    then the wireless assistant disabled, then installed then disabled, and so on.
    it is operating on it's own. it is really quite bothersome! if you can offer any advice.
    i hate to buy a new laptop right now.

Buying a new laptop is a very extreme way of solving computer problems isn't it? - well, unless you're much richer than most of us.

You could try to do a 'System Restore' back to a time before the problem occurred, or as a last resort you could reinstall Vista again - anything but buying a new computer!
