hi,
remove the battery, press the power button for about 20 seconds, put back the battery and then reboot.
if the problem still remains, then contact a technician for support.

Does the unit have an external vga socket.?
there may be a key sequence that you have to press to tell the laptop to use internal vga.
I had a toshiba laptop that does this.
