Hello im trying to total the shfit allowance on timesheets eg:
In cell k7 they will leave blank if not claim shift allowance, but if they are then cell k7 will have a y.

So im wanting to total the number of y's in column k and then put the number of y's in cell D47

Try to use:

D47 --> =COUNTIF(K1:K100, "y")

Adapt my reference cells at your reality.
