Count a cell with particular colour

Hello,

I need a formula in excel to count the cells only if they have a particualr color in it. SAy if the there are 10 cells with some text in each and filled by certain colour. I want the function to count only those cells which ahve say pink clour filled in them..

Can you help me with this?

Hmmm, i don't think it's possible but the formula to count 10 cells in a row is =sum(C3:C11) for example.
