Can not convert CR2 in DNG

Hello, I am using my new EOS 550D, Photoshop CS3 and want convert the raw data into DNG, but always I get the message - mistake during reading, I can not convert the data. What can I do? Thank you for each helpfull answer.

Dear Sir,

You should be using an old version that is not being supported by the files and hence you will have to get it updated for having the problem solved.
