<I am trying to find a formula which allows me to include/exclude values in a list. Not sure if that makes sense but you can see what I need below:

1 Future CC
2 Future CC
3 Future CC
4 Future HR
5 On Hold HR
6 Future HR
7 On Hold IT
8 Future IT
9 Future IT
10 On Hold IT

So I would like to add the 3rd column and include only values that are for example "Future". So I would like to return the following:

CC 3
HR 2
IT 2

I hope this makes sense?

This may not have made sense so I will add to my detail to see if anyone knows what I am trying to do:
In the list above I would like to look at the second column and return ALL "Future" values AND look at the third column and to return ONLY the total of matches so for above we would have "CC" = 3, "HR" = 2, and finally "IT" = 2.
I hope this clarifies what I would like to see?
Many thanks in advance for your help!
