wiped vista from hp pavillion dv6000 and instClosed

Hello,
I bought a laptop about a year ago hp pavillion dv6000, the laptop came with vista but i had a few problems and it just kept crashing, wouldn't update. I decided i would install a copy of xp on it after wiping vista. I have managed to download all the drivers except for the audio ones, the link i was given by hp gave me them but when i downloaded and installed them there is still no sound could anybody help me out?

Hello my name is rick and just bought a hp pavilion a6000n pc and wiped out vista had a lot of problems but now working okbut need a better version of xp pro.
 i have all the drivers for the mother board if your is asus if ok we can trade
