Hey, there!

I'm looking to back up my pictures, MP3, videos, and documents. Looking around, I realize there is no fail safe method… But from what I can discern, Flash Memory appears to be more reliable than an external hard drives or burning a CD/DVD.

Is this correct? If it is, should I buy, a USB Flash Memory Stick, Flash Drive, Flash Card, or are they all the same?

Hi John
I don'"t agree with what you said. The only reliable form actually is opticla disc that can't be erased, so CD-R or DVD-R/DVD+R
Whichever erasable support you choose, there is a potential risk of unwanted erasement.
Plus, the flash memory are built to support a few read/write cycles (around 1000 I might say). So after a lot of deletion/copy your flash memory won't be reliable at all

Hope this helps
