Hello, both my dad and me are using hotmail. since last september he has not been able to recieve emails from me. they do not even show up in his junk folder. is it possible that he has blocked my email address by mistake ? if this is the case how do we go about unblocking it ? thanks. ian

hi,
try this:
Add address to 'Safe List'

>Go to your email box
>click 'Options'
>click 'Contacts'
>click 'Safe List'
>'Type the address or domain and 'Add'

thank you for the help but it went for me like this

options, top right corner,
more options at the bottom of the pop up
under the junk e-mail, safe and blocked senders
blocked senders
then manage from there

You'll need to open WIndows Live Messnger and go into Tools > Options > Privacy
There is an allow list and a block list where you can see who you've blocked , then you have to move the contact to the allow list and when you right click you can see an option to add them to your contact list.

Hope this helps,
