So I had to reinstall Win XP on my Hp Pavilion with out the original disc thus drivers are al missing. Now I fixed my graphics drivers, and my Ethernet {obviously} but the audio is giving me issues. I have the driver downloaded like they said to on the dam HP website but it out smarted me so far. Now i know I can go through the device manager advanced option and select the damn down load. {seeing as a friend did the Ethernet for me like that} Now my problem is how do I select the right .exe from my desk top or documents so i can get this damn thing to update?
OR
IF you know another way please let me know.

What is the model number of the laptop?

if you google "hp auto detect" this will take you to HP's official website where it will automatically detect your product and give you the correct drivers to install.
