Unlock code for a Nokia 6555b

Hello,

I have a Nokia 6555b that I would like to unlock from AT&T. I have tried to get them to unlock it but because there system is glitchy that can't do it. I even had a supervisor submit the request and they even declined that one.

Is there anyway I can go into the phone's software and unlock it myself? I am not afraid of basic programming.
