Can't install itunes

Hello, I received a message to new version of iTunes is available so I downloaded it and it keeps saying that it was corrupted and need to reinstall it so I've tried several times of uninstalling it and reinstalling it and it won't work. I wish I wouldn't of put the new version on my computer because now I can't use it. Is anyone else having this problem?

Have you downloaded a new copy? Internet errors can sometimes corrupt a download. You then need to delete the downloaded file and start over.

There were a couple Apple items that I didn't uninstall when I uninstalled iTunes and that is why it wouldn't work so after uninstalling those two items and uploading iTunes it now works. Thanks for your help.
