This will solve your problem:

1. Go to Control Panel
2. Click Administrative Tools
3. Click Services.
4. Scroll down and look for DNS Client. Right Click on DNS Client and select STOP.

Now, you can connect to Microsoft.com

This has frustrated me to no end and I haven't been able to find an answer. This morning I found that my DNS Server was set to a specific address.

Network Connections>right click>Properties>hi-lite TCP/IP>Properties.

Be sure both IP auto AND DNS auto are selected.

That fixed this opps problem for me

hi,
this is because you have got a trojan virus!
i guess it wont let you go to any antivirus either.
try this link to download Trojan Remover software:
https://ccm.net/downloads/
install it and perform a scan.
