Facebook access codes doesn't work

Helllo,
This comes up when I try to sign on
"A code was sent to (404) 9******. Please enter the code here once it arrives."
When I get the code and enter it nothing happens and it will not resend a new code. I don't know what the problem is but I need access to my Facebook account. What do I do to correct this problem

Delete all of your temporary files and cookies and try again
