It depends, if you download from suspicious site, the game might have trojan or anything like this, so but if you are asking literally about the actual game harm, then yes and no. If your computer is slow, then the game might slow it down, but if it is powerful and new, it shouldn't harm..

Code will harm, regardless how powerful the PC. Actually, the more powerful the PC, the worse the damage is done!
