Ctfmon.exe removal or disabling

I saw your site on a search for how to stop this asinine program from running on my computer. I came today in one of microsoft's ridiculous mandatory updates and it constantly runs in the background. I don't want, or need it on my computer. The solution listed on your site does not work for me. When I open the configuration utility and click on the startup tab, ctfmon is not listed there, and therefore, I cannot disable it. Is there another way to accomplish this?
