Hello,

i have connected 2 ip cameras to a dlink N300 range extender
the ip address are following

cam 1: 192.168.1.251
cam 2 :192.168.1.252
range extender: 192.168.1.50

i have connected this set to my dlink adsl modem via wify

modem: 192.168.1.1

when my laptop is connected via wify i can ping both cameras and extender
but if i connect via lan cable i can ping nothing exept the modem (192.168.1.1)

what should i do.

Hi,

what is your DHCP Server?

Do this test for wired and wireless.

Start > Run > Type CMD and Press OK

Type IPCONFIG and press enter

The first 3 octets (xxx.xxx.xxx.???) of the IP address on both machines should be the same.
The subnet on both should be the same

If they are not, then you will not be able to communicate with one another.

If at first you don't succeed; call it version 1.0
