How to discontinue using the Verification code

Iam hoping you can help me
I want to discontinue using the Verification code that gets sent to me alternative email add or my mobile number.
The reason being is when I click Next on signing in,it doesnt send the code to my mobile phone. I click Resend and only 4 or 5 times out of 10,it wont send. I then click on Email The Code and sometimes it takes 2 or 3 hours to get the code.
I use my yahoo mail for my small business and the way it is,its not working for me
I would like ti go back to the old way where I type in User Name and Password
Is this possible

As far as Yahoo, you get what you pay for. If you expect your business to run on FREE stuff, you should expect a very low level of response or features. Yahoo forces a two step authentication! There is nothing you can do!
I do not expect my my very small business to "run of free stuff"as you so nicely put it. I merely asked of something can be done because the authentication code often takes several hours to come through.
