Mp3 player will not play

when i turn on my mp3 player all it says is GTX on the screen. No songs will play or anything. I just changed the battery because it would not charge. Please help me!

hold the power button up for 15 seconds and then turn it on normaly

It doesn't have a power button it just slides to on, off, or hold.
