Outdoor movie low pitch voices don't play

Hello,
We are hosting an outdoor movie at our elementary school. We hooked up all the equipment but have hit a snag. The high pitch voices and music play through but the voices and low pitches aren’t. It is a projector hooked to a DVD player hooked to 2 speakers. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!

Well, you may be limited to the range of the speakers. Unless the DVD player has DOLBY processing sending low freqs to a subwoofer, you are limited to the range of the speakers. Try a different set of speakers.
