My Dvd driver might be broken??

Hello,
My toshiba satellite won't read an dvd. ut it able to read my cds?
Why it can be??
The driver code is Sd-R2512
The satellite code is A55-S306

hi,

you need to update the driver.

this will fix the problem. you can get the driver in the official website of Toshiba.

But, Its toshiba official web is www.toshiba.com or else??
