Hi,

I was playing some games then I heard a weird noise for a second on the PC. It immediately shut down.

I tried turning it on again. I found every thing fine - the monitor is ok, the mouse and keyboard shows LED colors, and the CPU case shows that it's on.

I tried changing the HDMI too, but it still doesn't show anything.

But after the shutdown, I smelled some burnt plastic and I am pretty sure it came from inside the case.

My PC temp. that time was 88°c.

Hello,

Once you turned your computer back on, did it shut down a 2nd time? If so it's possible your computer is overheating. Check that the fan is still working in the CPU.

Please also let us know what type of computer you are using.

Regards,
