Hi!

So I'm trying to write a budget for my household. Payments are made from different accounts.

I've included an example. If anything in Column A says "3333" I want the amount listed next to it in Column B to be included in the total of B7.

So 2 payments come out of "3333". The total of B2+B4 ...

Hello,

You need to use conditional formatting (SUMIF function) to correct the issue. In B7 enter:

=SUMIF(A2:A5,"3333",B2:B5)
