Computer Problems

So I bought an HP model 15-da0086nr about a month ago and it just quit working. I noticed something was wrong when the speakers completely stopped working even though it said the speakers were working fine. When my mom and I first tried to fixed it, I tried installing some updates through HP Assistant thinking that might have been the problem, then it wouldn’t install the update completely (it finished loading but it would not complete the update, like the update just froze). Next the computer began to slow down and the device manager we were going to use to fix the speakers stopped working. When we turned it off to restart it, it will turn on but now it won’t boot back up again. Has anyone else had this problem?
