Nothing is working

Hello,
I have a oldish lenovo laptop running windows 7. Never had any problems.until today.
I have rebooted it several times. I tried unplugging it and taking out the battery for a couple of minutes. My home screen comes up as normal. However I cant click on anything. The cursor moves round the screen, but when I click an icon, nothing happens

I tried using the windows button. Nothing happens. I tried pressing ctrl.alt del. Nothing happens

I just have a static desktop.

It was running fine earlier.

Any ideas?

Hi

I suggest you try to restore your old Chinese laptop to factory settings, you may lose all of your data but it's better than a dead piece of concrete.
