Ati graphics card caused speakers not to work

Hello, I have bought an ati graphics card for my computer and since i have put it inside everything has worked except the speakers on my computer, they worked when i first installed it but once i restarted my computer the sound does not work there is no sound coming out but if i test my speaker sound does come out im thinking maybe a setting has to be adjusted? does anyone know a solution for this?
