Is there another way?

I want to wipe my old dell laptop clean before I recycle it.

I don't have a "repair my computer options" on the reboot screen. There are other options like "safe mode" etc. Is there another way to do this?

Load into a recovery disk such as windows 7 recover USB. Then after booting from usb, run format c:\

Or, take disk out, drive three nails through it. Pull the nails back out l, and reinstall the disk. Screwing wood screws through it will perform the same function!
