Hi,

Soft keys refer to the navigation buttons on an Android phone. Usually, they include a back, home and menu button.

thank you. I am none the wiser. i have back, home and clear apps buttons. in the settings it says the android version is 7.0 is this the problem? all I am trying to achieve is sort my apps alphabetically , but it seems an impossible task. did no one think of this before? does everyone have to search through all the apps in random order to find what they want?

It seems that Android 7 has the feature to sort apps alphabetically, but it depends on the make and model of the device. Can you please confirm the model of your phone so that I can tell you if there is an option to sort apps alphabetically or not?

Make a long press in an empty space on the Home screen and tap Launcher Settings. Then disable Show all app in desk. Try opening the Apps list and see if they are sorted alphabetically.

If this is not the case, repeat the above steps and try enabling the Know On Home Screen option.
