DuckDuckGo - Open results in new windows/tabs

Thank you very much. I've been trying to figure out how to open new tab in duckduckgo. Again, your help is much appreciated. I decided to follow your instructions before sending the thank you message above. I did everything you said. Only mine doesn't say advance settings, it says all settings. And when I scroll down in my settings it says. 'Opens link in a new tab, Opens results in new windows / tabs.' I turned it on and then scrolled down to the save and exit and clicked there. It took me back to my home page and I opened up a new tab at the top and it's still opening my new tabs in Edge // new tab. I don't know what else to do. But I still appreciate your help and you have a good night. I guess after I send you this message, I'll restart my computer to see if the changes take that way. Thank you again.

Thanks for this. The latest version of DDG (June 2020) has moved this to <other settings/general/open links in a new tab> on the menu bar.
