When I am writing an important document, I always upload a copy to Google Drive every half an hour because I am afraid of loosing it, although everything is in Microsoft One Drive and it is automatically uploaded to Drive Cloud every two minutes. It is pointless? Should I stop doing it? Are there good ways of recovering a document?

Thanks in advance!

Hello, if it doesn't bother you to much to continue what you're doing, then I don't see why not.

On the off chance that your document is corrupted on your Microsoft Drive, but you have a back up on your Google Drive... then its not pointless.

I agree with David.

Suppose you lose the document, and One Drive didn't save it. In this case, you'll have at least a backup on Google Drive allowing you to recover your document.

So it's not pointless.
