I have different numerical value in one column (say A column),
I need to put serial number in another (B) column based in value in A column

Do you enter your values in column A in order? Like A2, A3, A4.
How does your serial number look like?
Something like this?:
Col A --- Col B
123 --- 123-1
456 --- 456-2
789 --- 789-3
