Hello, this is because you are using a switch, it never assigns each pc an IP address. You will need to install a router connected to that switch!

sir
my qest sir i connect a networ in 6 pc using winxp using dlink swt and cat6 cable. i try network in without ip adress is not connected withou ip what problem not using patch panal direact connect swt using workgroup network
fist one cable connect router to switch then 6 pc cable connected to swt give the ip adress is working but without ip adress is notworking
