How to do I delete a locked file?

I have pdf files that have a lock on it but they are not password protected and have no security.

I have managed to save as a copy with no lock but the issue is that I cannot delete it as I have no administration access.

I have checked with my manager as he also does not have administration access to delete to them.

Please help

Well you can try the following 

  1. Close the Program. 
  2. Reboot your computer. 
  3. End the Application via the Task Manager. 
  4. Change File Explorer Process Settings.
  5. Disable the File Explorer Preview Pane. 
  6. Force Delete the File in Use via the Command Prompt
