you will have to configre your wireless accesspoint or router on the setup page of your device their must be some security settings in which you have to configre the following items
1. SSID - this is the name of your wireless network just give any new name if it is in default mode like LINKSYS.
2. Security - In this option select WEP it requires 10 characters password just type any 10 characters in the KEY 1 block . Save it and its done but remember this key.
now go to your laptop and now when you connect to this network it will ask for the key, type your key their and you are connected to your secured wireless network and its really secured from your neighbors.
