Hi,

Try clearing Free Fire cache. Go to Settings > Apps > Free Fire > Storage > Cache > Clear Cache. Another advice is to use a fast network connection - slow networks may cause issues in the game. Switch between 4G/5G/WiFi.

If you still obtain the "Authentication Failed" message, restart your phone. And as a last resort, uninstall and reinstall Free Fire. If you use a guest account, reinstalling the game will erase all of your progress. To avoid this, please bind your account.

Hope that will work.

"Authentication failure" in Free Fire during a BR-Ranked match can be caused by several issues, such as:

  1. Poor internet connection: A slow or unstable internet connection can result in an authentication failure during a match.

  2. Server issues: If the game servers are down or experiencing technical difficulties, it can cause an authentication failure.

  3. Unstable device: If your device is having performance issues, it can result in an authentication failure during a match.

  4. Account ban: If your account has been banned for violating the game's terms of service, you will not be able to participate in ranked matches.

To resolve the issue, try the following steps:

  1. Check your internet connection and restart your router if necessary.

  2. Wait for the game servers to recover and try again later.

  3. Restart your device and try playing the game again.

  4. If your account has been banned, follow the steps outlined in the previous answer to appeal the suspension.

If the issue persists, you can reach out to the Free Fire support team for further assistance.

  1. Clear cache and data: Clearing the cache and data of the Free Fire app can also help resolve authentication issues. To do this, go to your device's Settings > Apps > Free Fire > Storage > Clear Cache and Clear Data.

  2. Contact Free Fire support: If the issue persists, you can try contacting Free Fire support for further assistance. They may be able to provide more specific advice or help you troubleshoot the issue.

I hope these steps help you resolve the authentication failure issue in your BR-RANKED match. Good luck!
