Pop3 account problem in Yahoo Mail app.

I use several accounts in yahoo mail app. Suddenly one of the accounts won't send from the yahoo mail app. This problem is accross all platforms from android phones and tablets, to iphone and ipad.

It's a livemail account, the settings are correct and I can send from the yahoo mail website, but not the app.

Any ideas please?

Hi Gareth,

Make sure the SMTP server is smtp.office365.com / Port 587 / Encryption STARTTLS. You can try removing the account, then re-adding it. Update also the Yahoo Mail app to the latest version.

If the issue persists, generate an app password and use it instead of your current password to connect your Hotmail account with Yahoo.

Yes, as above, and login into your Outlook/Hotmail/Live account online to check that the password is correct, and that there are not restrictions in place e.g. the account has been blocked by Microsoft.
