'Auto return' turned off

I hope I can explain this clearly. Somehow how I managed to accidentally turn off or turn on a feature that prevents messages from automatically going to the next line when hitting the end of the message box. For example, when I type a message it's just one long line and a slider arrow appears at the bottom of the screen instead of automatically returning to another line. I'm using Windows 11 on a PC if that matters.

Hi,

Apparently, it's related to Facebook Messenger itself. Other users are noticing the same issue as yours. I suggest you report it to Messenger.

Click your profile picture and go to Preferences > Report a problem.

As a workaround for now, press Shift + Enter to break the line.
