due to some directX error Closed

Question

Hello,
i've recently downloaded COD 5 in a torrent, i did every step as followed and when it was finalising the installation a pop-out came out saying something to do with my directX is not install. Is my desktop unable to play this game or shall i just insatll a directX and it shall do?

Just download direct X here:

For Windows Vista:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35

Just choose one of these directX software depending on the operating system you are using

Isaac Liew: Depending on what directx your game needs to run you need to have that one. Cause I installed just cause 2 and I need directx 10.1 but I currently have directx11. Also try changing your resolution and upgrading your drivers and graphic card. And you might have to run a different window i.e. vista, window7 or something else. Cause most new games you can't play on windows xp. Hope this helps.

you need to go to ati/nvidia for the drivers and then get direct x 11 from games for windows website
