Help me with plaing the sims2

Hello,
ive just downloaded the sims2: season and aparttemant life,even sims update
but it wont open
i already have the sims2 basic
could you plz guide me how to put them together and make it play?!
im confused
dont know what to do
help me

well what it depends on is what cd you put in when you are wanting to play....my friend puts in the cd that she last installed onto her pc and it works but none of the others do so i would try to put in cd you last installed (ex. if you last installed seasons then put that cd in) and they should already be linked so when you play even with a different cd in you should be playing all the installed sims 2 games in one
