Hello,
I have a compac presario f700 came with windows vista it now shows on screen there s no operating system I wanted to set up window xp is this possiable?

Hello there,

You will have to change the SATA mode on the bios settings before you install the XP os,

Go to bios, Search for sata mode or sata operation change to IDE

Then boot the windows installation disc and follow instructions
